When VF Corp acquired Vans, the digital experience needed to evolve and align with a larger ecosystem. The team led the migration of Vans’ online presence into VF Corp’s infrastructure while rethinking UX and design. An outdated design system was rebuilt and unified into a modern, scalable toolkit that empowered designers and developers to work faster, stay consistent, and deliver brand-right experiences across platforms. This work streamlined workflows and set the foundation for Vans to thrive under VF Corp’s digital umbrella.

Background
VANS NEEDED TO MODERNIZE SITE. THE ECOMMERCE SITE needed to be more user friendly. We took the existing system and revamped it. This would ensure developers on our team could make the designs as accurate as possible.
CHALLENGE
Rethinking how the design system would work. Using this system would then be used to other brands vf corp owns such as Northface and timberland.

THE DESIGN SYSTEM WAS OUTDATED. we needed to figure out the best course of action for creating a simple to use design system for production designers and developers.

VANS HAD SITEMAP Already built but because we had a new user experience, we needed to remake wireframes to visualize in low fidelity the way the site will look.
